The DancePass is a project of the presenters of dance in NYC and Dance/NYC. Here's how it works: presenters post special DancePass discount offers, intended for members of the NYC professional dance community only, to a password-protected area accessible from the home page of the Dance/NYC website - www.dancenyc.org. Offers are posted day of, or several days in advance - so it makes sense to check the DancePass page often. Once there, follow the instructions to take advantage of any of the offers posted.

To enroll, please complete the following form. Upon receipt and approval we will send your DancePass card by mail, and your password by email. You will receive periodic email alerts from us when new DancePass offers are posted.

This Month in Dance History
May, 1936: The 92nd St. YMHA hosts the first National Dance Congress which brings together 1400 dancers who attend panels and performances. Some critics malign the event for its leftist politics, others for its domination by the “New York moderns.”
